Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was having the great honor of working with people as a team and watching some of the young employees she had in her businesses grow and succeed. If she had any small influence on them in their lives, she would consider it be her biggest accomplishment. Now she has the pleasure of watching her daughter advance into her independent life, which she considers to be a true gift. She has learned many things from her daughter, so she is her most precious highlight.

She attributes her success to her parents, who taught her to follow her bliss in life.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after she graduated from school. She was always interested in art ever since she was a child. She opened Armadillo's restaurant in 1982 with her partner, but continues to do sculpture and has a studio on Cape Cod.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Hurlburt is an entrepreneur, artist and restaurateur. She helped to open the Hyannis Harbor Arts Center in July 2011 and had the first visiting artist show there at the Guyer Barn. She had a one-women art show at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in 2006. She has one piece of art hanging outside to the right of the front door of the Cape Cod Museum, which she is honored to say is in the museum's permanent collection. She once did an independent study in art history while traveling through Italy.
