Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she initially wanted to be a pharmacist, but then became interested in biochemistry and law. Eventually, she turned her focus to medical studies and discovered that she was able to think outside of the box.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Ellenrieder began in her current position in Andover, Mass., in 2011, but held the same position in central Europe for two years. It was in Europe, at the company’s headquarters, where she first introduced her ideas and out-of-the-box concepts regarding dental implants. After recognizing her abilities, the company sent her to work in the U.S. Dr. Ellenrieder has 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and she has spent six years working in the field of medical devices. She has been able to start, develop and execute different successful projects in product development, marketing, and sales. She is Swiss, and speaks four languages.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Raising awareness of implants; Managing a team of 15 members, who report directly to her; Training the team on growing the market and creating awareness in their region or territory; Educating the team on the ways in which the Straumann implant is different
