The highlight of her career was receiving the Exemplary ERO Award from the IRS in 1999. This prestigious award is bestowed on only two tax preparers each year from each state. The IRS flew her to Houston, Texas, to present her with this award.

She attributes her success to always being available to her clients and working hard. The entire office is very conscientious of its work, and typically works diligently to turn out an excellent product.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after realizing there weren't jobs in her town for people with her education and skill set, so she started her own company. Originally she chose accounting because she loves working with and reconciling numbers and doing estimates.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Ryman does write-up work for approximately 100 different companies and individuals. She also prepares around 650 tax returns each year for individuals, corporations, S-corps, partnerships, and nonprofits. In addition, she prepares numerous workers' compensation and general liability audits each year. The company uses Drake Software for its tax preparation services, and 2012 QuickBooks Premier Software for all of its accounting and payroll services. The company prepares books, payroll tax reports and makes deposits; files W-2s and 1099s annually for all clients; and handles correspondence audits with taxing authorities and representation work with the IRS.
