He attributes his success to his consistency in the luxury business and at the companies he has worked for, as well as his work experience, which includes 14 years at Yves Saint Laurent and 14 years with his current company. Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession after joining the cosmetics business 28 years ago and traveling all over the world. He was interested in discovering different countries, living in Asia for 11 years, before coming back to Europe.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing all business of the Estée Lauder Companies, including 15 brands that encompass airport, ferry and in-flight business; Managing six brand directors, who report to him, including a human resources director, public relations director, store design director, category management director, digital consumer marketing director and finance director
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Mr. Seite hopes to be in charge of a wider-reaching brand. He would also like to create his own company. In France, there are many small companies, so there are many opportunities for business development.
