One highlight that stood out the most was before he purchased the dealership. He was the general manager of another Ford dealership and was looking at a new limited edition, high performance car at his current dealership before he owned it. The owner was selling his dealership and asked him if he ever wanted to own a dealership. The previous owner told him that he knew that he was going to be the next owner because of the last four digits of his telephone number which spelled out F-O-R-D. Mr. True then purchased the dealership on his 45th birthday without ever realizing it was his birthday that day.

He attributes his success to his passion and hard work.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession after growing up as one of seven children in a very poor family. He worked through the automotive business from washing cars to serving as a general manager and today he owns a dealership.
