He became involved in his profession because he was drafted into the U.S. Army and inspired by his father, who worked for the Sandia Corporation.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. McAllister worked in the nuclear weapons field with the U.S. Army for 21 years, before retiring 18 years ago. He was promoted to first sergeant, where he was responsible for the functionality of the unit. He had previously worked as a customs inspector in Korea; he worked in course development at Redstone Arsenal, and helped rewrite the 35F course and develop the 55 Gulf 20 NCO course. Mr. McAllister’s other titles have included squad leader and platoon sergeant, and he has driven 750,000 miles without any accidents.
