She attributes her success to her mentors, the continuing education she pursues, and the seminars she attends.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after gaining experience at the supervisory level with accounts payable. She was then given the opportunity to join Loyola as the manager of a department, and she hoped to acquire additional responsibilities. After an automated system was implemented and the vice president of finance left, it was the perfect time for her to take on these responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintaining payroll services; Processing payroll for 6,000 employees on a biweekly basis and 400 employees on a monthly basis; Checking accounts payable; Managing all department invoices, which account for approximately $300 million
