She became involved in her profession because she found her niche in education.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Freeman was a high school teacher for 25 years and taught students with special needs. Last year, she was asked by the dean of the college to coordinate a project that required them to compile evaluation materials for kindergarten classes in Ghana. She also went to Ghana with an international affairs and education team from the university to observe schools in which the materials were being used. Ms. Freeman will be presenting a research paper at an educational research conference in Paris in July 2010.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Teaching students and teachers how to use the subjects of fine art, humanities and social studies; Assisting the associate dean with college assessments; Advising students
