Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Reuland has been working on collage and mixed media watercolors for the past four years. They are impressionistic abstracts. Her works are commissioned as well as exhibited in her studio and at a local theater. Among hundreds of commissioned works throughout the country, one of the more notable was a portrait of the Paramount Arts Centre, for actor Ed Asner, a pen and ink drawing of the new athletic facility of Rosary High School, two watercolors of the Millennium Plaza, one for the city of Aurora and the other was presented to the landscape designer at First Night 2000, and a watercolor of the entrance to the Aurora Country Club. In June 24, 2006 Ms. Reuland had the honor of being asked to do some pen and ink renderings for the Dominican Literacy Center, ‘Palette & Spade’ garden walk. Note cards were also made available for purchase. In 1999 she opened Gallery 44, a co-operative of area artists, located at 50 East Galena Boulevard at Aurora in Illinois. She previously exhibited her work at the Anam Art Gallery at Naperville in Illinois. In addition, she was previously affiliated with the Waterfront Gallery at the Abbey Resort at Fontana in Wisconsin as a house portrait artist and also created a few paintings of boats and businesses. She studied with many artists and attended many art workshops as well as participated in several juried art shows. In addition, Ms. Reuland has donated her works to different organizations including a local high school for fundraising purposes and the Mutual Ground.
