Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was writing, illustrating and publishing her book, "There's Always a Bully." The most gratifying aspect of her career is knowing that she is reaching children and adults and helping them to understand how to stop the bullying that is affecting their lives. She listens to what people have to say and not only understands what they are going through, but also shares solutions to help them change their lives. She gets a lot back from the people she helps.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her passion to empower and build confidence and skills in children so they can deal with bullying. She reaches out to schools, camps, parents and religious groups because it takes a supportive community to stop the spread of bullying.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was a victim of bullying as a child. She has always been passionate about alleviating this problem for other children, and notes that the discussion of bullying must be ongoing in order to effect changes in behavior.

Ms. Sutherland is a public speaker and co-author of the children's book, "There's Always a Bully." It is being sold as an e-book at http://www.amazon.com and as a regular book at http://www.mirasmartshop.com. She has been a featured expert on Martha Stewart's Sirius Satellite Radio show, "Morning Living," and her ongoing anti-bullying work has also been covered by other media outlets. She studied graphic design and advertising and has developed and designed several corporate identity programs. In addition, she has volunteered as a facilitator for the Rainbows International, helping families who have lost loved ones and children whose parents have divorced. She has sold one of her paintings at a charity auction.
