She became involved in her profession because she was working in a clinical setting when she was pursuing a bachelor's degree. She did a rotation in labor and delivery, and knew that this was what she wanted to do in the future.

Overseeing 67 staff members, the mother and baby units, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit; Delivering 80 to 90 newborns a month; Directing labor and delivery
