He became involved in his profession because his family worked in academia, and he wanted to combine his love of art with his love of teaching.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Delsarte recently held exhibitions at the Hammonds House Museum in Atlanta, Ga., the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture in Charlotte, N.C., and a museum in Macon, Ga. He was commissioned to create a multipanel project for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Visitor Center in downtown Atlanta. He is an adjunct professor of fine arts and humanities at Morehouse College.
