What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
By nature I am an encourager and enabler. I have the ability to see order in the midst of turmoil, effectively calming others and helping them to see from a different perspective. It is at this point that people are more receptive to listen to what is said and to try to work through and resolve differences.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
My greatest career achievement was being licensed and ordained as a minister of the Gospel, and then ordained and serving as a pastor.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
I would like to be remembered as a person who loved the Lord with all her heart and in turn showered others with the same, unconditional love, helping them to grow and succeed in life.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
Hatred for self and others
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama. I want to discuss their perspective of public service prior to the White House, during their tenure there, and what their plans are once he has fulfilled his assignment there. I want to know their joys and achievements as well as regrets and sorrows/disappointments.
Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The greatest highlight in my varied career was and is the same - teaching and training people, watching them grow and succeed in life in areas where they thought they might fail.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
My success is a direct result of a God-given passion for teaching others and empowering them to be successful in their endeavors.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
I became involved in the library profession after having a 20-year career in information technology. I veered into doing volunteer work at the county library as a result of the economic downturn, causing me to renew a childhood passion and to follow a new course in my life. Initially I shelved and organized books, but later became more involved with the patrons as a desk assistant, progressing to a part-time library technician, and now as a full-time library analyst at Luther Rice Seminary and University.
Extended Bio Profile:
I use my experience in information technology, administrative support and customer service in my business Services for His Glory, which I started in 2005. I also teach Bible studies and preach through For His Glory Ministries, also founded in 2005. As a staff minister at my current church, I work with and teach the youth.

Awards/Honors:
Recognition, 2011 Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
My plans are to continue developing myself as an educator and minister of the Gospel, with a focus on preaching worldwide and establishing For His Glory Ministries' ministry curriculum. This will include courses for all ages in leadership, “How to Study the Bible,” and various Bible subjects.
