She attributes her success to luck, her hard work and persistence, and being in the right place at the right time.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because when she was young, she lived in Atlanta, where there was a drama troupe. She fell in love with the witch in "Snow White," and from that moment, she wanted to become an actress and play the part of a witch. She has always been involved with writing.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Crutchfield has worked for Virginia Press Women and Richmond Free Press, as well as for many other publications. Although she is mostly retired, she is planning to go to Dartmouth next year to write a book. She recently traveled to Iran for two weeks.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Working on presentations on Iran; Working on a book that explores the lives of a woman suddenly made a widow and an older widow with a slow illness
