She attributes her success to the support she received from her parents and teachers.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because her father was a general practitioner; she used to watch him with his patients and make house calls with him at a very young age. As a result of those experiences, she knew by the fourth grade that she wanted to become a physician.

Dr. Lewis co-developed a training solution that augments and enhances the skills needed by providers and allied health professionals who treat and care for service members and veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and TBI.
