She became involved in her profession because as an entrepreneur, she was looking for a successful business to manage and found that she excelled in her initial positions within the real estate field.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mrs. Jones-Von Qualen began her real estate career in 1981 with Gulf American Corporation, selling its housing, land and condominium projects. She also worked as a sales manager for the franchise builder, Arthur Rutenburg. In 1994, she and her then-husband opened a national women’s weight loss franchise, "Inches-a-Weigh," which she owned and operated for four years. In 1998, she and her then-husband invested and developed Self Storage, an 800-unit facility operating as Central Self Storage. The Sierra Vista store was ramped up to 85 percent within three years and sold successfully in 2001. She and her then-husband relocated, and purchased and developed Cape Coral Self Storage, as well as Village Self Storage in Oxford. The store has been managed by Capitol Management for the last four years, successfully reaching 72 percent occupancy. Mrs. Jones-Von Qualen now resides in the Lady Lake area of Central Florida with husband, Keith Von Qualen.
