Ms. Gordon is a lyric-coloratura soprano and an international star of opera, concerts, chamber music, radio, television and theater. She started taking piano lessons at 5 five years old, voice lessons at 17 years old and graduated cum laude from Hunter College when she was 18. Her solo debut was at the New York Philharmonic and her operatic debut was with the New York City Opera Company. She has performed with major symphonies and opera companies internationally. Ms. Gordon is the executive director of the Piccolo Opera Company and was awarded a resolution by the Michigan Senate. She has been on the faculties of several universities and has established a voice scholarship with the National Opera Association. Currently, Ms. Gordon works as an adjunct professor at Oakland University.
