Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was greatly influenced by her father, who was a college professor. After her divorce, she wanted to find a career that truly interested her; teaching seemed like a natural fit.

Ms. McLucas lives in Eustis, Fla., and has been teaching for 27 years. She truly cares for her students and is passionate about seeing them succeed. She is also proactive concerning parental involvement.

Teaching earth science; Overseeing class work; Monitoring students' homework; Staying after school to tutor students who need extra help
