During my advancement ceremony to Chief Petty Officer, my daughter pinned my anchors on me and presented me with a flag she had flown over the USS Arizona.

She attributes her success to her education.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she wanted to do something different with her life and decided to join the military. At that time, only seven percent of all U.S. Navy members were females; today, 15 percent are women. Most of all the men in her family served in the U.S. Army.

Ms. Dietrich is currently serving in Mayport, Fla. She has been forward deployed twice. She currently holds Top Secret SCI Clearance.

Working with a staff of 10 active duty servicemen and 15 civilians; Teaching advanced tactics, combat techniques, and seize and search courses
