She attributes her success to her unique perspective as an identical twin.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her 25-year background in education. She felt she had reached her limits in traditional education, and began researching new ways to promote understanding and healing for diverse populations. Her sister, Maryah Thomas, invited her to join her team at Help for the Healers.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Smith currently living in Plantation, Fla., where she teaches private piano and vocal lessons. She also develops seminars with her twin sister, Maryah Thomas, the founder of Help for the Healers. Her latest CD, "Separated by Words," is a collection of original songs, and is available for purchase through CD Baby, as well as her website.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Seeking, designing and developing strategies that bridge holistic and allopathic health care fields in a format that will provide continuing education units for massage therapists; Networking with those in related disciplines and accreditation commissions in order to offer Help for the Healers seminars
