The highlight of her career was obtaining her first legal job in Florida working for the Department of Children and Families. Every day of the job she knew she was making a difference in the life of a child. To her, there is no greater accomplishment than that.

She became involved in her profession because she wanted to be in a profession that challenged her mind on a daily basis. She also felt that becoming a lawyer would empower her with the tools to help others who may be taken advantage of and also allow her to make a contribution to her community.

Ms. Neaher was raised in Ephrata, Pa. The oldest of three, she is the first woman in her entire family to have a college degree and the only one in her family to have an advanced degree.
