Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession when he was given the opportunity to become a director of Teleconnect. He caught on very quickly and in six months was promoted to vice president by Teleconnect, which was then bought by MCI. Mr. Lane developed a webinar and ran four major call centers for MCI, which then became Verizon.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Supervising a workforce of 85 people in different locations around the country; Working in the business-to-business part of the industry; Servicing medium to global-sized corporations; Providing intelligent routing; Working with Wall Street companies, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Mr. Lane hopes to keep growing his department and developing the technology that they utilize. He also looks forward to spending time with his 88-year-old mother, whom he loves very much. By that time, Mr. Lane will be getting ready for retirement.
