He attributes his success to his hard work and having faced adverse conditions; he grew up in a poor family, and his father never earned more than minimum wage. Mr. Cassaday defied the odds and refused defeat.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession through a natural progression of events. He started in overhauling farm tractors and other equipment at age 16.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Cassaday previously worked as a certified service manager for a Lincoln Mercury dealership and fleet supervisor for AT&T. He managed a large fleet of motor vehicles and equipment, ranging from passenger vehicles to large aerial trucks used in all phases of communications, construction and maintenance. He is currently launching a new website featuring classic vehicles and books from the early 1930s. He has been operating an amateur radio since 1955.
