Work History:
Dr. Clauson managed a dental office in San Ramon then moved to the Central Valley and had her own practice in Lodi from 1989-1996. When she and her husband had their second child, she sold the practice and worked part- time with the new owner for 81/2 years. When the children were older, she joined the practice of Dr. Michael Pickett and took over the practice from him when he retired in 2007.
What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
As a female dentist, small hands and a gentle touch are very important. Patients are able to communicate with Dr. Clauson to gain understanding of their dental health. The ability to offer sedation dentistry as well as advanced care in implants and sedation have been factors in why patients choose Dr. Clauson

She attributes her success to her determination.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Her Mother was in the dental profession and so she grew up around the dental profession. She became a dental assistant at a young age and went on to dental school. Her love of helping people and working with her hands made dentistry an excellent fit.
