She is separated from her peers because she truly cares about the student-athletes at her school, and she wants the best for each one. She provides the same care to more than 300 athletes in the fall, 150 in the winter and more than 400 in the spring.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Her greatest career achievement was being part of two state championships in the same school year.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
She would like to be remembered as a hard worker who has the best interest of the student-athletes.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
If she could solve one problem in the world it would be famine and hunger.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
She would have lunch with Bruce Springsteen. In addition to liking his music, she appreciates his political agenda, as he advocates helping the homeless and those mistreated by the government. He is also involved with Second Harvest and Amnesty International.
Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was receiving gratitude from her former students. She traveled with the football team to the CIF Division II State Championship in 2006.

She became involved in her profession because of her passion for sports and interest in rehabilitation.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Kofman worked with the Stanford Women's Swimming Team from 1992 to 1994, during the Pac-10 Championships and NCAA Championships, as an additional athletic trainer providing medical services and massage therapy for the swimmers. Ms. Kofman served as a speaker at a swim camp, where she discussed the prevention of shoulder and knee issues.

Teaching sports medicine to ninth- through 12th-grade students; Taking care of athletes and treating their injuries; Ensuring athletes get all their special needs for practices; Traveling with the team for all sporting events
