She became involved in her profession working part time for a mortgage company in high school.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Thurlow began her mortgage banking career in 1984 at CityFed Mortgage, and was promoted to operations management at the age of 19. Over the next 15 years, she managed all aspects of branch operations, winning recognition for efficiencies, and was promoted to assistant vice president, northwestern regional operations manager for Accubanc Mortgage. In 1999 she managed both retail and wholesale western regional operations for Union Planters Mortgage. In 2001, through overall strength ratings in sales and operations, she was acclaimed the Number One Wholesale Branch Manager. Continuing to win recognition and multiple awards, she credits her staff for her success through the years at companies such as LoanCity, ABC and Franklin American.
