Ms. Stoneman is a singer and guitarist who has performed professionally, as well as at weddings. Three years ago, she began a school newspaper. She feels that her experience in the Girl Scouts of the United States of America has helped her to develop as a person and express herself. In 1987, Ms. Stoneman worked as an administrative assistant for the Madison Muskies, a minor league affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. She also developed a Major League Baseball standards-based education program. Working under Dave Nelson, she is a Milwaukee Brewers coach and broadcaster.
