Ms. Feeny is a results-oriented senior executive with a recognized track record of success for providing tactical and strategic leadership in achieving innovative product and market development within the health care arena. She has served in numerous executive roles with PacifiCare Health Services and UnitedHealth Group. Prior to the acquisition of PacifiCare by United Health Group, she was the executive vice president of the Secure Horizons, which was the nation’s largest Medicare Health Plan serving over 1 million members and generating more than $7 billion in revenues. Whether it is a Fortune 200 or a Fortune 20, Ms. Feeny has served as an entrepreneur in a corporate setting by building and launching numerous products and services aimed at providing health, financial and health-related lifestyle services for seniors. Products such as A Solution for Caregivers and Secure Advantage developed under her leadership received national and regional publicity, as well as a host of awards and commendations. Beyond being a creative and energetic executive, Ms. Feeny has served as a mentor and role model to young professionals pursuing careers in the health care industry. In spite of her busy schedule as an executive, a single mother, and a caregiver to her mother, Ms. Feeny continues her dedicated involvement in community service and supports a host of organizations. She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Health Foundations and the American Society on Aging. Ms. Feeny was the chief executive officer and co-founder of Joppel, a company that she co-founded and recently sold to the Word & Brown Companies that provide technology, health benefit plan models, and sophisticated employee benefits services through more than 50,000 brokers to nearly 60,000 employers with more than 6 million eligible employees.
