She attributes her success to her faith in God, the encouragement she receives from her husband, and the support and eternal love she received from her great-grandmother and her daughters.

She became involved in her profession through her love for nature and animals.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Plum has great faith in people and believes that most people are honorable. She also believes that people have faith in her honesty and loyalty. She grew up without siblings, and turned to animals for friendship, playmates and comfort. She learned to listen to them and trust them, and when humans failed her, her animals were always there. All of these experiences have made her gentle and kind. The animals made her care, listen and feel. She would like to see the continued success of her book and write a sequel to it.
