She became involved in her profession because of the influence of friends at the University of Redlands who majored in communicative disorders.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Rapp has been retired since 2005. She is partially disabled and cannot stand for long periods of time due to her ankle problem. She used to bring her Shetland sheepdog into the school as part of her pet therapy program for handicapped children from 2000 to 2006, for which she was interviewed by a local news channel in 2004.
Currently Ms. Rapp has taken on the role of caregiver to her elderly mother.

Developing lesson plans in reading; Writing and mathematics for children with speech and language disabilities
