Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Prystowsky has been a clinical teacher at The University of California, San Francisco, for two years. He also works at the largest of three community sites of the Santa Rosa Community Health Centers. These centers provide community health to a highly uninsured area. The centers are comprised of 11, 000 children, and it is Dr. Prystowsky goal to provide care for them, as well as the area's migrant farmers and Cambodian refugees. Many of the residents at the centers are receiving National Health Service Corps loan repayment aid, which serves as an incentive for venturing into primary care in underserved communities.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Educating family residents on pediatrics; Teaching full-time providers how to tackle public health issues and systems; Creating systems to address obesity, immunizations, anemia, and oral health; Providing consultations to full-time doctors regarding complex pediatric conditions; Working on systems to provide standardized care for children

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Dr. Prystowsky hopes to create sustainable systems so that the people he teaches and consults feel supported enough to become autonomous and provide standardized care for children in the areas of immunization, nutrition, and emergency room care. He also intends to create a set curriculum for family medicine, which will include various core topics.
