What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to never quitting and knowing why she does what she does.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was stricken with a neurological disease that cost her 20 years of her life. She needed a way to get well and reinvent herself, so she went on to study business through the University of Phoenix and other nontraditional business schools. When a business executive told her about Nikken's products, she tried them. Her health immproved so significantly that she then partnered with Nikken.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Rees enjoyed a long and varied military career in Canada and Europe. As a career military officer, she was one of the first women to graduate from Canada's Royal Military College. Through her association with Nikken, she is helping Woodwynn Farms and many other nonprofit organizations earn their funding through a proven business model that continually builds on previous success in the fastest-growing and largest sector of the worldwide economy. The structure allows several organizations to profit from the same amount of work and is especially well suited to hospital and school foundations. Ms. Rees is very clear on why she has had a long association with Nikken, a global heart-centered company that is squarely focused on giving back to society. Most companies are focused inward on the bottom line. Nikken is focused outward and is passionate about making the world a better place. Its philosophy of “Humans Being More” is not just a catchy slogan. This philosophy of elevating it to a greater purpose is what drives this research and development company. Total Wellness is not just a product—it is a way of life that starts with finding balance in five pillars of health: healthy mind, healthy body, healthy family, healthy finances and healthy society. Purpose matters most—it's not what Nikken sells; it's what it stands for that counts. The company was founded more than 30 years ago on a philosophy of making the world a better place. Her small piece of the puzzle is helping Woodwynn Farms help its most marginalized citizens find a healthy life at its 193-acre therapeutic community in Victoria, B.C., Canada. How can the farm be helped? Every penny earned by Nikken purchases through the website directly supports Woodwynn Farms. She is pleased to be associated with powerful people, powerful products, a powerful brand, and, most importantly, a powerful purpose.
