She attributes her success to her roots and how she was raised. She comes from an Italian family of twelve. Her mother was spiritual and it was ingrained in them to be all they could be and be full of faith.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because all her life she has had an artistic love for both writing and drawing, and she has finally followed her inspiration. What originally started out as a childhood hobby has turned into a lifelong passion.

Writing her book, "The Me-Gan Lifestyle," about alternative healthy eating and taking charge of your life; Finding a publisher; Going through the editing process; Deciding on cover designs; Choosing interior layout; Working on the book proposal for her first novel
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. Bortel hopes to become a well-known author and be on a bestseller list. She wants to have success. She thinks big and believes when you see something in your mind, profess it and follow it, and it happens.
