Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Delaney joined the U.S. Navy in 1963 as an electrical technician and was a chief warrant officer during the Vietnam War. He served in the Navy for 22 years and was decorated 27 times. He was commended for his actions on deck of the USS Forrestal (CV 59) Aircraft Super Carrier in July 1967. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Texas Instruments in weapons development and systems. He was one of the original technicians of the Maverick Missile and was asked by The National Aeronautics and Space Administration to join them as a flight manager for the F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet and a space pioneer for NASA.
