He attributes his success to his parents for their unending support and dedication; to Dr. Ella Stotz, his mentor at South Dakota State University, whose foresight provided him with a foundation for success; to his children, who live and learn with him and are his inspiration for the present and future; and to his wife Gladys, who believes in him and understands him sometimes more than he understands himself.

He became involved in his profession because he maintained his long-standing desire to work within the education field.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Aguiar is proud to offer his services through NWACC, which opened its doors to 1,200 students in August of 1990 and, as of Spring of 2008, held an excess of 6,600 college credit students, making it one of the largest and fastest growing two-year colleges in Arkansas. An additional 7,000 students are served by through non-credit courses throughout the service area. The hallmark of NWACC is its quality of instruction. Its classes are taught by experts in class sizes that are small, providing for more personalized instruction. Transfer courses are taught by instructors with a master's degree or higher.
