She attributes her success to helping students and preparing them for their futures with regard to use of technology.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because while she was in college doing her 20-hour work program, she was placed in a computer lab where she was able to teach faculty, staff and students.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Smith is also the network administrator for the recreation center in Bullock County, which she has been doing for the past four years now. She was instrumental and was responsible for writing the proposal for a 21st century solution computer lab, which is fully up and running for students and people in the community to utilize. She also is passionate about being a role model, as her mother was for her. Her mother did the same for her sister, has graduated from law school and passed the State of Illinois bar exam.
