Ms. Schempf was a habitat biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game from 1972 to 2009.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Working with engineers and geologists to plan airports, roads, buildings and ferry terminals; Analyzing the environmental impact of the state's infrastructure projects; Making recommendations for the improvement of projects; Providing performance standards; Coordinating efforts with maintenance crews; Analyzing visual, audible, air and water pollution or lack thereof; Implementing all permits during construction and operation
