What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Definitely getting my registered nursing license to begin with. I come from very humble beginnings and still am the only one in my family to even go to college. Without my registered nurse license, I would not have been able to accomplish the other wonderful things that have come along.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
Ghandi or Mandela. I admire their ability to stand tall even under oppression or adversity, they stood by what they believed, they were able to get done what needed to get done, even when they received many 'no' answers they persevered and got the job done. They always seemed to stay cool under pressure.
Expanded Biography:
Ms. Lilienthal has a passion for medicine, so the next step in that regard is educating people about what nursing can do for them. This includes doctors and lawyers as well as the injured client. It is important that clients know there is a nurse available to interpret the medical talk. Nurses can help heal patients/clients physically and emotionally by being their resource person to the doctor, but also financially, by helping attorneys win law suits for them by being their attorney's resource person.
