Mrs. Clarke published a poem entitled ‘The Dawn of Autumn’ in the International Library of Poetry. She has also published an article entitled 'Leadership Strategies for Effective Schools' in the Caribbean Journal of Education and Development. She works as an adjunct professor at The University of the West Indies in Jamaica and has completed two manuals for post graduate students. She serves as an internal examiner for The University of the West Indies in their research projects. She completed her action research in higher education in 2008.
