He became involved in his profession after working for a construction company in industrial plants as a maintenance mechanic during his college years.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Wamsley recently served as a technical consultant for a Fortune 100 company coordinating their energy program, conducting plant energy reviews, boiler plant optimization, process system assessments and implementing energy projects in over 120 facilities worldwide. He has developed and presented training modules for boiler water treatment, make-up water and steam treatment, combustion optimization, plant energy systems and optimization, plant process systems, compressed air systems and water usage optimization. His commercial and industrial boiler system experience is extensive ranging from small 50 hp fire tube units to 1500 PSIG coal fired co-generation plants. He has written and published two training books entitled 'Energy Conservation for Commercial, Institutional & Industrial Facilities' and 'Compressed Air Systems for Commercial & Industrial Plant Operations.' He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America at an early age and was in the Soap Box Derby and also he has worked on automobiles in high school. He considers becoming a plant engineering manager at the age of 36 and starting his consulting engineering business and becoming successful within two years as his career achievements. He previously served in Firestone T&R Co. and Kimberly-Clark for 18 years, and Textron, Inc. for four years.
